This reading group will delve into this profound and enlightening work, exploring core themes such as 'the meaning of existence,' 'the relationship between time and existence,' and 'the authentic self versus inauthentic existence,' attempting to understand how Heidegger opens a new chapter in phenomenology and existentialism.

The popularization of technology has led people to increasingly rely on external devices to store, transmit, and process information, resulting in a gradual decline in human thinking and memory capabilities. Stiegler proposes the concept of "re-individualization" in his book, advocating for the reconstruction of the symbolic structures of culture and education to resist the spiritual impoverishment caused by the technology-capital system. The reading group will discuss three main issues: "the decline of symbols," "the relationship between technology and spirit," and "how to reinvent meaning," attempting to understand Stiegler's diagnosis and therapy for contemporary cultural ailments.

Fake News Department

Irregular updates

"The Unreliable News Department" is a visual series that straddles the line between fake news, true philosophy, and AI creativity. It is an unstructured, untrustworthy, and unreliable "hacker news department" that serves as an active invasion into the absurdity of the information society. From the AGI soul trial to the on-chain renaissance, each piece of news serves as an opening statement to a question of the AI era. Truth and falsehood do not matter; what counts is whether you believe it or not. Welcome to watch, and welcome to question.

This series revolves around the logic of the industrial age, the rise and fall of globalization, the production of capital and desire, the reversal of the information age, and the possibilities of Bitcoin and networked nations. With a historical and philosophical perspective, it questions the future directions of technology, capital, and human life.

——In the current environment, can people still manage with the traditional capitalist market order? Can tariffs still be applied to digital products? Can we still track their logistics like in the past? Can we still operate through the cyclical iteration between currency and goods? Wiener said that we need to call for a new set of values, value systems, and new social institutions to respond to the new goods and market environment of the internet age. We have already seen this ideal new concept — we refer to it as a “networked nation,” or a new type of national order, international environment, and living world. What characteristics might it have?
